The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide
Located in the Woodville South suburb of Adelaide, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is one of South Australia's leading acute referral teaching and research centres. In addition to providing health services by means of in-patient, outpatient and emergency services, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital provides community based services, which include Mental Health Services, the Pregnancy Advisory Centre, The Epilepsy Association, Diabetic House and a Satellite Renal Dialysis Centre.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is a 367 bed public hospital, which provides a comprehensive range of specialist and diagnostic treatment services to a population base of approximately 250,000 living primarily in the western suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia.
The Hospital is widely recognised for its achievements in such areas as renal medicine, cardiology, haematology/oncology, invitro-fertilisation and surgery.
