Childcare in Sydney

The System of Childcare in Australia may be quite different from the system in your home country. There is high demand for childcare in Sydney and prices at Child care centers can vary ( AUD 40- 70 per day).

Long day care

Long day care centres provide full time or part time for chilren from six weeks to five years. Care is usually available from 0800- 1800.
Most have waiting listes.

Family Day Care

Family day care provides home based childcare for children aged six weeks to five years. This can be on a full time or part time basis. As children are cared for in small "family" groups in carefully suprevised private homes
